Apple Cider Spritz

I love an Aperol Spritz, but it feels like such a summer drink and tbh, it's loaded with sugar.

It's really hard to completely avoid sugars in a mixed cocktail but, this one does a pretty good job and is worth the splurge in my opinion.

My Apple Cider Spritz  is a lower sugar - lower calorie version of a classic aperol spritz with a touch of holiday cheer and I know you're gonna love it!

Try making these for a festive fall girls night or even Thanksgiving! They never disappoint.

And if you're looking for a mocktail, just swap the aperol for more cider and the Prosecco for more mineral water.

Pssstt...garnish really makes this drink so don't for get your star anise and sprinkle of cinnamon!

Ingredients

Ice

2 ounces apple cider (no sugar added)

1 ounce Aperol

3 ounces dry Prosecco or champagne

4 ounces club soda or sparkling water

Sprinkle of cinnamon

Orange slices and star anise for garnish

Directions

Add ice to a wine glass until it's almost full

First add the cider and aperol, then add in the Prosecco and club soda.

Lightly sprinkle cinnamon on top and garnish with an orange slice and star anise.

Serve immediately.
