Pre-Workout Snack | Almond Cacao Energy Bites

I know a lot of you saw me snap these bad boys {SnapChat: LoveSweatAndFit} and yes, they're as good as they look! I always mix up the recipe a bit, but this pre-workout snack were too good not to share. Plus, they're a great healthy snack you can make in 5 minutes!

Best parts: They're RAW, VEGAN and packed full of healthy protein, fat and carbohydrates to give you the energy you need to push through your workout (I usually have 1-2 on handfor my pre-workout meal)or just get you out of an afternoon slump.

These bites arealso a great alternative when you are REALLY craving something sweet, but don't want to give in to the oreos hiding in your pantry. A serving is1-2 balls, so make sure your not eating like 5 everyday. Even healthy treats add up. All things in moderation right? They're a littletoodelicious so just make sure you don't over-do it.


  • 1 1/2 cup s Almonds
  • 1 tbsp. Chia Seeds
  • 1 tbsp. Hemp Seeds
  • 1 tbsp. Maca Powder (optional)
  • 1 tbsp. Cacao Nibs
  • 1 tbsp. Coconut Oil
  • 1 cup Medjool Dates (pitted)
  • 1 tbsp. Unsweetened Coconut Chips (optional)


  1. In a food processor, blend all ingredients together.
  2. Roll into small balls, roughly the size of a large gumball
  3. Refrigeratefor up to 10 days, or freeze for longer storage & ENJOY!
