Hi! How many protein balls in a serving? I’m considering purchasing the nutrition guide – are the serving sizes listed on all the recipes?
Hi! Serving size would be two balls 🙂 Most of my recipes serve two, but will Indicate if it serves more. My goal in my guide is to really help people learn how to eat balanced meals. The example meal plan is a great guide for serving sizes with all other dishes. It will give you an idea of how much protein, carbohydrates and fats to include in each single serving. I always like making larger recipes though and portioning it out so I have healthy servings throughout the week.
Hope this helps!

Are these protein balls for a snack alternative? I was actually at a restaurant last week and they were serving bread balls like this for dips. Looking at the recipe list they are only ‘protein balls’ because you have added in protein powder. With the nuts are these just sprinkled on top? After its been put into the freezer, do I cut them into squares and roll them into balls?
These are much different than a bread ball. They are a great snack or alternative to a cookie or other treat. You can decide if you would like the nuts mixed in or just rolled on top of the balls. You will roll the dough into small balls before putting them in the fridge or freezer. Hope this helps!
So once the mixture is mixed together in the bowl do I make small balls and then place them in the freexer to harden? In your instructions you have done it differently.
Once you have mixed the ingredients, you can roll them or form into squares before placing in the freezer. Either way works 🙂
We have nut allergies I. Our house, but love the idea of protein balls, can you suggest and alternative flour? Oat is ok, just not almond. Thanks!
Oat flour would be a perfect alternative for this recipe 🙂
What could I use in place of the coconut nectar? Is stevia or maple syrup good?
Definitely! Either would be great, but Maple syrup would be best! If you use stevia, add it to taste, you may not need as much.
[…] ingredients kind of sound like one of my protein ball snacks, right? So insane! What essential oils do you think you’ll use? Comment below if you’re […]
What are the macros for one serving? I got 8 balls from the recipe. Thanks!
