My Favorite Homemade Granola

MY FAVORITE HOMEMADE GRANOLA RECIPE

Ingredients
  • 3 cups rolled oats
  • 1 cup chopped almonds
  • 1 cup walnut pieces
  • 1 cup cranberries
  • 1/4 cup chia seeds
  • 3/4 cups shredded coconut (unsweetened)
  • 1/4 cup raw honey
  • 1/4 cup coconut oil
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1 tsp. pure vanilla extract

Directions

  1. Preheat the oven to 250 degrees
  2. In a small bowl, combine coconut oil and honey and microwave for approx. 30 seconds or until both are melted
  3. Add honey/coconut oil mixture to a large bowl and combine with all other ingredients
  4. Mix well and spread mixture across two cookie sheet pans
  5. Bake approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes, stirring every 15-20 minutes
  6. Remove from oven when oats look golden-brown and set out to cool
