Amino-Packed Moringa Smoothie
Moringa is probably one of the few superfoods you haven’t heard of yet, but I’m guessing that is all going to change in 2018. It’s packed with 9 essential amino acids, protein, more iron than spinach and is easy to sneak into smoothies, salads and more. This moringa smoothie will leave you full and ready to take on your day feeling super good.
I could write a whole blog on moringa and all the ways to use it, and probably will soon, but here’s the quick and dirty on it.
Moringa has more vitamin A than carrots, more vitamin C than oranges, more calcium than milk, more potassium than a banana, more vitamin E than almonds, more iron than spinach, and that’s just the start of it! 😲
It can normalize blood sugar, stimulates hair growth, reduces wrinkles, and improves gut health. Not to mention, it’s an amazing source of protein. This little tree can do it all, my friends!

- 1 small avocado.
- 1/2 frozen banana.
- 1/4 cup frozen cauliflower
- 1/4 cup frozen pineapple
- 1 cup of almond or coconut milk.
- 1 cup of chopped kale or spinach
- 1 Teaspoon of Moringa powder
- Add more milk or ice as needed once you blend.
*Blend it all together until smooth and enjoy!
