Hi Janell…it is 8 weeks of free workouts. I would suggest reading your Sweat Starter kit that was sent to you when you signed up. It has all the details on how it works. There is a new schedule every single week, it’s not all sent at once 🙂

Hey Victoria! Yay! SO excited to get started. If you don’t have the Sweat Guide, then you would just do the workouts listed. For the girls with the guide, you start w/ the guide first and then add these workouts for the best results and most fun 🙂

Hi Katie, thanks so much for the effort you have put into this monumental 8 week plan. I’m so looking forward to getting going! I’ve just two questions; you put in the daily workout and say, for example, 3 times, then say for ‘Hot body babes, do this 1x before sweat guide workout (which I have). Does this mean to do the workout 4x in total+ HBSG?
Also for Saturday it’s LISS (also in HBSG) so add in bikini abs ladder, so is it 30-60 mins cardio + abs ladder, or 2×30-60 mins cardio + abs ladder?

Hey Claire! So excited to do the SSU with you 🙂 So if you are doing the HBSG, just do the workout here 1x and then do the Sweat Guide. If you are feeling extra strong, you can add more of the workout here.
For Saturday it’s just 30-60 min cardio and abs ladder.

Protein for sure post workout! Could be just powder and water, shake, etc. Check out the LSF Hot Body Meal Plan too, it breaks all of this down. Excited for your wedding, congrats!
Another question(sorry to bother you): could cardio be as simple as doing a few of your workout videos or learning a dance routine? Also, thanks for the simple setup! With the videos, I can do them offline with no data outside after my run, so thanks!

So totally new! So happy to be here! My question is what is the LISS Cardio? do you have these videos on your youtube channel?
LISS stands for Low Intensity Steady State, this is exercises such as walking, swimming, stairs, etc. You should be elevating your heart rate, but not breaking a serious sweat.

I was wondering as in new if there will be a specific post of modifications as I can’t do the surfer girl or much jumping do to a knee injury but really want to complete the workout
I live in an apartment so can’t do jumping exercises either if I don’t want my neighbours downstairs to wonder what the heck I’m doing

Do you have to do the Summer Shape Up exercise with the HBSG or can you split them (do one in the morning and the other in the evening)? Which is better?
You can for sure split them up 🙂 If you do them all at once that is ideal, but both ways work well.

Yah! Lazy pushups totally work.
You can try chest presses if you have some weights or another arm exercise

Hi Francesca, the times are estimates. Since everyone is at different fitness levels and even doing different workouts (if you have the HBSG it would take the full 30) we try to give a good idea of how long it may take. If it took you less time awesome! If you had more energy and time you can always do more rounds

Of course! You can jump in anytime!
So I take the before pictures but what I’m supposed to do with them? Post them in Instagram???(?) or email them to you?? Or just save them ?
You can post them or hang onto them for now, but to be eligible for the grand prize trip you will be sharing them with your progress photos at the end of the challenge.
I finished the first day workout and I wanna complete the second but mu legs are really hurting me, shall I take a rest?

Loving this first week so far! I don’t have Instagram so won’t be checking in on there but it’s so much motivation knowing that there are lots of other awesome women out there sweating it out with me!
I need a refresher on tagging my posts, do I tase them with #teamlsf #lsfsummershapeup and then do I also need @TEAM LSF and @Team LSF? What do I need to tag my posts on IG with to be eligible to win?

So I’m a little late to start, about a week any pointers on how to catch up and not overwork it? Or should I just continue doing the daily workouts just stay a week behind. Also suggestions if I miss a day of working out I know it’s not ideal but sometimes my schedule does not allow me to
just jump in! Don’t worry about making up last week. Especially if you’re also doing the HBSG it will be so easy to totally see incredible changes in the weeks we have left! Plus you can keep going strong after the challenge is over 🙂
Is this all app workouts? I don’t have the app. I started following LSF because there was the option of free workouts, it seems like everything is on the app now.
Hey Trisha! The SSU workouts are in the app yes, which is 100% free to download and use for the Daily 10 exercises. The app does have a premium subscription as well, but you don’t have to have that to get the Daily 10 which is the base of our challenge. Hope this helps!

I have the HBSG 1 and 2 and have no plans to pay for the app, since I’ve spent so much money on the guides in the past. I wish you guys would go back to add the equivalent workout on the HBSG. So sad because I was so excited for this year’s Summer Shape Up.
Hey Bruna! The SSU workouts are in the app as that is where the Daily 10 lives now and that is the base workout for the challenge. We also suggest either the premium app workout or an HBSG workout starting on Week 1 Day 1 throughout the challenge. The goal if you are using HBSG would be to do version 1.0 for the first 4 week and 2.0 for the last 4 weeks. You can 100% still do the challenge, not to worry 🙂

The Daily 10 exercises are in the app (which is 100% free to download and to use for Daily 10) and then we will have new SSU exclusive videos on YouTube each week like we always do for SSU. The app also has the premium workout plan, which is the best way to maximize your challenge results.
I am glad that youtube has the videos too because the app is not compatible with my phone. I emailed support already and they also agreed not with my phone. Just a little disappointed but giving SSU my all!

Hey, yes on IG 🙂 The prizes are decided on through a mix of…Best transformation during the challenge (both physical and mental) which are submitted at the end, most engaged posting, checking in and support others on IG and active participation in the workouts. Let’s do this!

Standing abs workout is the Youtube workout 🙂 The Daily 10 is a great starter and the main workout is your LSF premium app plan workout.
How many rounds should we do the videos?
Totally up to you depending on your level!
