DIY deodorant. All Day Dry Natural Homemade Deodorant
Girls – this deodorant will change your life! Not kidding. It takes about 5 minutes to make this natural homemade DIY deodorant and it's worth every second!
Especially if you are doing the Hot Body Sweat Guide, you are going to want to make thisIMMEDIATELY!I literally have never smelt better and sweat less. It's kind of crazy. I mean… I know 'Good Things Comes to Those Who Sweat' but I'm definitely okay will staying dry on the regular.
I've tried tons of different brands of natural deodorants. They always make me feel sticky-icky and smell too earthy. There's a fine line between natural and dirty, ya know.
Usually I end up using the Dove 48hr spray deodorant which I like, but I always smell it. It's clearly having to work hard and I had knowing that those chemicals are soaking into my skin.
With the exception of traveling, I have used the natural homemade deodorant every day for about 2 months now and don't plan on EVER going back!
The first time I made it I used Ryan's Star Wars Death Star ice cube moldpahah. It was kind of genius. Once I knew it was a keeper, I upgraded to this cute pink bath bomb mold. It's great because you can fill it up and have a rounded top to "roll" on the deodorant.
Here's What You Need:
♥ 4 Tbsp coconut oil
♥ 2 Tbsp baking soda
♥ 2 Tbsp coconut flour(you can also use corn starch or tapioca flour)
♥ 8-10 drops of your favorite essential oils(I used lavender)
**Mix everything together with a spoon. If using a bath bomb mold, you may need to double the recipe. I recommend keeping it in the mold and storing it in the fridge. Keeping it in the fridge keeps it more solid like a traditional deodorant and it feelsamazewhen you put it on!
The ingredients kind of sound like one of my protein ball snacks, right? So insane! What essential oils do you think you'll use? Comment below if you're gonnatry the natural homemade deodorant and tell me your go-to deodorant scent. I'm thinking I might make one with like orange blossom oil for summer!
