My Favorite Podcasts

Podcasts blew up in 2018! It’s like everyone and their mother finally got on board with them. I love them because it’s such an easy way to learn! Other people do the research and you can listen while you’re cleaning, getting that LISS in, and more. 

Personally, I love podcasts related to topics in fitness, nutrition, and lifestyle. HUUUUUGE surprise, I am sure. But I wanted to share my all-time faves so you can get on the podcast train with me. Who knows…maybe one day we will launch an LSF podcast 👀😀

Lifestyle

The Dream – If you have a million friends asking you to join their business (Arbonne, Amway, etc.) you need to listen to this amazing podcast about MLM’s NOW! So good.

The Good Life with Stevie & Sazan – This podcast is super uplifting and fun! Plus, I love hearing from someone who has a similar career to mine. Lots of good tips in here too for anything you can think of!

The Skinny Confidential: Him & Her – This podcast is FULLLLLLL of amazing hacks and tips for productivity and health/fitness. Lauryn is super great and her podcast is so inspiring to me!

Goal Digger Podcast – I get SOOOO many questions about how we built our business, and Jenna has so much good info if you are trying to build your own business. Listen to this if you need motivation to work on your side hustle.

Health/Wellness

Nutrition Diva – This podcast is quick and easy and full of great information on healthy eating. With all the fad diets out there, this one is so helpful for remembering the science and finding balance. I love this one for quick refreshers on nutrition info!

The Doctor’s Farmacy with Mark Hyman M.D. – I love this one because I am a firm believer in holistic health. The way you eat will eventually impact your health! Dr. Hyman explores all sorts of issues related to health and food, and I always learn something crazy.

That’s So Retrograde – If you like crazy health trends and girl talk, you’ll love That’s So Retrograde. I am personally not super into astrology, but I do love knowing the latest & greatest in wellness, and these girls ALWAYS know what’s going on.

Almost 30  –  If you want to get some health knowledge with a healthy dose of funny, this is your podcast. The hosts Krista and Lindsey are amazing friends who bring different perspectives and all the laughs.True Crime

My Favorite Murder – I love a good true crime story, and My Favorite Murder somehow makes these stories more lighthearted. It’s weirdly so endearing, and even though many of the stories are sad, the hosts are SO good at calling attention to important issues like domestic violence and equal rights. Highly recommend.

Up & Vanished – This show has two amazing seasons about women who just disappeared out of the blue. They are both such interesting stories and both have led to ACTUAL leads in the cases. Plus the host has a fun southern accent haha

Dirty John – Since I live in Southern California, I LOVE Dirty John. The whole story is set in Orange County at places I go to all the time! They made a TV show out of it but, trust me – listen to the podcast first. You’ll be so into it, you’ll forget you’re doing cardio day 😉

I’ve never listened to podcast while working out (I’ll have to try it!), but a favorite podcast of mine is What Should I Read Next?. Then, I can get the audiobook version of books I am interested in use work out while listening to the books!

Any podcast list NEEDS to include “The Morning Toast”. It’s perfect for the pop culture junkie. I listen to it almost every day during my workouts.

I actually haven’t yet committed to a particular podcast – but I’ve been meaning to look into them. I’ve subscribed to all of these now. 🙂 I have though listened to some of the mindbodygreen podcasts which can be really good if you’re interested in the particular topic.
