We love an essential oil blend.
They smell amazing, they have hundreds of uses, and they have even more benefits! So we thought maybe we should try combing two of our faves: essential oils + and cocktails. Cocktails = friends. Oils = benefits. Essential oil cocktails = FRIENDS with BENEFITS! Match made in heaven. Be sure to check out this video to get the full scoop…
Lavender is amazing because it can be used for anything, and it’s one of the most relaxing scents on earth. Overall, it’s best for when you need to unwind, or when you need a little help in the skin department. Other lavender benefits:
- Reduces anxiety & emotional stress
- Protects against diabetes symptoms
- Improves brain function (need this in our lives)
- Helps to heal wounds
- Restores skin complexion
- Reduces acne
- Slows aging, because it has tons of antioxidants
- Relieves pain (it can legitimately take away your headache!)

Lemon balm is my go-to when I just need a pick-me-up. It makes me feel energized and alert. Even just putting a few drops on my wrist makes me feel awake and happy. Because it can help with circulation, it can make a huge diff to your energy levels. It’s the best. Other benefits of lemon balm essential oil:

Now go revitalize and restore with a lemon balm margarita!!
- 1/2 cucumber

- Lemon balm essential oil
- 1 T Honey
- 4 oz. Tequila
- Soda water to taste (we like lime La Croix!)
Muddle the lime in a cocktail shaker, along with the lime juice, essential oil, honey, tequila, and some ice. Shake until combined. Pour over ice, and garnish with a cucumber slice or two (maybe put a couple over your eyes too for full spa effect ?). Serves two.
Bergamot smells soooooo good. It’s fresh and citrusy, and it actually gives the flavor to Earl Grey tea!! A classic for a reason. Because it contains a compound called flavenoids, it’s an amazing relaxant. Aka perfect before bed time! Other benefits:
