Collagen is my best friend

You babes all know I love me some collagen! Here’s why: it has the amino acid glycine which promotes an efficient metabolism. Translation: more ENERGY! ?

The final ingredient in this amazing smoothie: pitaya. You girls know from the smoothie bowls that pitaya is a nutritional powerhouse! ? It’s got healthy carbs, protein, omega-3s, antioxidants, and VITAMINS! (And it’s a good thing, or I’d be exhausted from just writing that list! ?)

Gimme a BOOST Smoothie 

Ingredients:

  • ½ cup beet, peeled and chopped
  • A packet of frozen pitaya (or about ½ cup)
  • 1 cup frozen cauliflower
  • 1 cup coconut water
  • A scoop of Vital Proteins collagen protein
  • Optional: oats! For an extra energizing, extra filling smoothie

Directions:

Blend all ingredients together! Enjoy.
